NEW.

NEW. JUST NEW. That’s because there is no old version of the captain. Or, rather, this IS the old version and the new version at the same time! It was a good opportunity to try out a new background color too.

Anyway…

Meet Captain Strande! He’s sailed the high seas for decades, claiming he was first mate by the time he was seven years old and captain by the time he was nine. His men and his hat have never abandoned him or even considered mutiny–not even during the Jewel War! Strande is filthy rich from his many voyages, and considers himself a collector of sorts (he is, in fact, an extremely greedy hoarder). Nonetheless, despite his boastful attitude and lust for shiny things, he claims he has decided to give up his life of adventure and settle down, carrying a shipload of refugees across the ocean to the far lands in the east.

I drew this guy up because I was having some difficulty with another NPC and needed to blow off some steam. And obviously I also needed to draw a floofy hat. He was delightfully easy to draw. :)

So we’ve got a lot of red- and blue-themed characters. Next time I’m gonna have an all green poll!
